Los Angeles, Calif. (February 28, 2012) — Southern California-based competitive cycling team “Get Crackin’ – MS Society” is pleased to announce its 2012 roster. Now in its eighth season, the team is dedicated to helping young competitive cyclists achieve their full potential both on and off the bike, the team also raises money to fight multiple sclerosis and has proudly raised more than $250,000 to date for the MS Society.

Get Crackin’ – MS Society team members are often selected to represent the United States in international competition. Current riders who represented USA in 2011 include Collin Berry (Junior World Championships,) Will Chesebro (Paralympic World Championships,) and Kit Karzen (Pan-Am Championships and several World Cup events).

The team will be directed by Olympic bronze medalist and former USA Cycling National Team Coach Roy Knickman.

In January, USA Cycling recognized the team for the second straight year with its Center of Excellence award because of its comprehensive plan and results in developing U23 (under 23 years old) cyclists.
